PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS) will build a logistics dock in the Archipelago Capital City (IKN).

The construction of this logistics pier is a follow-up to the collaboration between PT Bina Karya (Persero) and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) regarding courier services and logistics hubs to facilitate service needs.

Friday (1/9), a Head of Agreement (HoA) was signed between PT Bina Karya (Persero) and PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera regarding Cooperation in the Operation and Development of Logistics Piers in the Archipelago Capital Region at The Royale Krakatau Hotel.

"In providing courier services, you definitely need easy logistics transportation, one of which is the port. "Hopefully with assistance from KBS we can provide end-to-end services and synergize with everyone," said Bina Karya Main Director Boyke P. Soebroto in a written statement, Sunday (3/9).

Plt. President Director of PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera Cahyo Antarikso stated KBS's readiness to get involved and help develop IKN. He also hopes that this collaboration can be the start of a good business in building IKN by providing integrated logistics transportation facilities.

"We don't want to remain silent regarding the construction of the IKN. So, in accordance with our specialization in ports and logistics, we are trying to offer cooperation regarding these two matters," said Cahyo.
